German Foundations is a 2-month CEFR Level A1 course designed to introduce complete beginners to the German language in a clear, practical and engaging way. The program helps learners understand the basic structure of German while gradually building confidence in speaking, listening, reading and writing.
The course begins with essential sounds, pronunciation and frequently used expressions. Learners are then introduced to foundational grammar, sentence formation and everyday vocabulary through guided lessons and practical classroom activities.
Students learn how to communicate in simple and familiar situations, including introducing themselves, sharing personal information, ordering food, asking for directions and discussing everyday routines.
The course gives equal importance to understanding the language and using it. Instead of memorising isolated vocabulary, learners practise new words and grammar through sentences, conversations and real-life scenarios.
Regular speaking activities help students overcome hesitation from the beginning. Continuous feedback allows learners to identify mistakes, improve pronunciation and build a reliable foundation for the next level.
