About this course

Independent German is a 2-month CEFR Level B1 course designed for learners who have completed A2 and are ready to move beyond basic everyday communication. The course helps students develop the language skills needed to handle familiar situations independently and participate in longer, more meaningful conversations.

At this level, learners begin to communicate with greater detail and structure. You will learn to describe experiences, explain plans, express opinions, discuss familiar topics and respond appropriately in academic, professional and social environments.

The course also strengthens reading and listening comprehension, helping learners understand the main ideas of clear conversations, announcements, articles and other everyday content.
